TOPSEC supports padel players in Europe

With our subsidiary in Spain, where Padel has been a real way of life for many years, we wanted to facilitate access and support this very fun and accessible sport to the public.
That’s why TOPSEC is now offering its FITFINE vending machines for padel products in all its subsidiaries in Spain, France and Benelux. An instant, fast and easy service, which allows padel players to have the necessary equipment and accessories to practice directly at the place of practice.
WHAT IS PADEL TENNIS?
Padel is a racket sport combining squash and tennis, born in the 1980s in Europe. The main characteristic of this sport is that the ball can bounce not only on the ground, but also on walls and fences, as long as it does not hit the ground a second time in its own camp. Today, there are more than 4,000,000 players and 75,000 licence holders in Spain.
In recent years, the sport has expanded in Europe and in 57 other countries. It has also joined the French Tennis Federation in 2021.
As a result of this growth, 13 countries will host official World Padel Tour competitions from February: the United States, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, Austria, France, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Argentina, Mexico and a region in the Middle East to be confirmed.
This represents 24 qualifying events in both Open and Masters formats, the longest season in the history of professional padel.
OUR VENDING MACHINE ADAPTED TO PADEL COURTS
TOPSEC offers a “turnkey” service that does not require any management from the sport center: product sourcing, preparation and delivery of the vending machines, restocking, maintenance and after-sales service.
For the manager of the sports center, it is an additional service for its users which allows to generate an additional income with a variety of essential articles offered directly next to the padel courts:
- Padel accessories: balls, racket overgrips, racket protectors, ball clips…
- Textiles (bra, tee shirt, shorts, leggings, socks)
- Other accessories: water bottles, shaker, headphones…
For this concept, TOPSEC has joined forces with several major sports and padel brands that we no longer need to introduce: Tiguar, Dim Sport, Shock absorber, Champion, Head and Bullpadel.
WHY ARE THERE DIFFERENT TYPES OF BALLS? WHICH BALL SHOULD I CHOOSE FOR PADEL?
Our FITFINE padel vending machines offer several types of balls depending on the level of the players and their evolution: Head padel Pro and bullpadel Premium Race balls.
Very similar to tennis balls, padel balls are nevertheless different. They vary on three points:
- The pressure of the ball
- Weight and size
- The bounce of the ball
For beginners, we recommend, as in tennis, balls called “without pressure” which will facilitate the exchanges, with a slower speed.
For regular and expert players, we speak of “pressure” padel balls. These balls are of better quality and offer additional comfort and allow you to play at the right pace.
